Qualification in my pocket, I only wanted one thing: to enter the world of work. Back in my hometown, Aix-en-Provence, I was hired in the downtown music store, where I sold and repaired guitars during the week, then weekends were reserved for custom manufacturing. Subsequently, I had the chance to join a guitar making workshop at the Tuilerie Bossy in Gardanne. I was able to practice my profession and continue to develop my skills and art. Experience gained, opportunity in sight, I decided to open my own workshop. Since then, I have been lucky enough to be able to receive the french “artisan of art” distinction.

I have always been more attracted to the guitar than the piano, violin or cello. At the age of 8, I started practicing it in the municipal school of my village in Provence. I then decided to become a guitar builder . Student at ITEMM (European Technological Institute of Music Professions) based in Le Mans, France, I learned the basics of guitar fixing: wiring, fretting, adjustment, maintenance, and guitar manufacturing.

Je suis passé dans son atelier pour un refrettage et reglage d une precision de 78, la basse est metamorphosée, un vrai régal et une belle rencontre avec ce passionné. On a plus envie de quitter son atelier quand on y est…il sait de quoi il parle. Je n hesiterez pas à lui ramener d autres instruments !!! Merci encore…

The workshop is located 10 minutes from Aix en Provence, in Ventabren in the Bouches du Rhône, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region.
